Vision SoHo is now Village Soho
The Vision SoHo Alliance, a partnership of six non-profit housing developers, has officially changed its name to Village SoHo. This new brand reflects the original vision of a vibrant and inclusive mixed-income rental apartment community coming to life. With construction having begun in the fall of 2023 and anticipated completion by summer 2028, the first model suites for Village SoHo are expected to open for viewing at the end of May 2025.

Village SoHo
Village SoHo is an innovative, mixed-income housing project in London's historically significant SoHo neighborhood, representing a first-of-its-kind collaboration in Canada. Convened by the London Community Foundation, this initiative brings together six experienced non-profit developers to transform the old Victoria Hospital Lands into a vibrant community. The project aims to deliver nearly 700 apartments, encompassing market-rate, affordable, and supportive housing options.
This unique development is designed to foster a strong, safe, and accessible community, prioritizing a sense of belonging while celebrating SoHo's rich heritage. Units at Village SoHo are offered across a broad range of rental rates, including deeply affordable, 80% of market rate, and market rate. The options accommodate a diverse spectrum of individuals, roommates and families. Some buildings will provide on-site programs supporting health, wellness, and inclusion. The developers' core principles include high affordability, wheelchair accessibility in all buildings and common areas (with some buildings having over 30% of their units barrier-free), energy efficiency, diversity, belonging and partnerships with community groups.
